Braid Slipping strands of gold between the comb of fingers Part the was of when, part the silver highlight, part the blessed auburn soul Twist in unison the untangled, lay upon the palm in weightlessness Each the vision of a blend of swift and flowing tresses Fine the fairest weave of ribbons and wishes There is no rhyme, and yet there is such music Falling together, turning neat each part denotes And yes, I linger in the after play of soft curls brought to bounce For once it was the single strand that was a forelock gold And fate her name, as I reached out and grabbed her then Turning once a lonely syllable to song Copyright Kkh 07/27/05 |

Agreeing with Warbler, you have a splendid grace that flows as you weave these strands of life. |
