it has been dark
in this mind
lost for all to see~
words of love
light mistaken
yet i was not blind to thee~
had to remain silent
while thoughts raced about~
my faith being tested
so i gave something
without a shout~
part of me
no one wants to believe~
so with his mercy
i fall
yet
not as they
intended
then made my reprieve~
to be without sin~
his word could never
be heard, or a journey begin~
i was once lost
but our creator
showed me the way~
unbound the chains
that kept love from
the heart, forgiveness from
the soul, and a spirit becomeing
one with gods love and word
peace within
i am who i am
and i am who i am meant to be
not lost little girl
but `lady of faith
beholding
only to gods word, where love
forever shall stay~

My spirit will rise
above the sea~
There will be no drowning
of my soul or me~

Oh Marsha, I too used to be a shackled spirit who faced much abuse, misunderstanding and neglect as a child, and now I've never felt more free and happy in all my life, with following Him making all the difference in fulfilling my life with faith and guidance!
