Some Friends Aren't Forever |

Pain is not a word that can be used to describe, This mixture of feelings I'm feeling inside. I'm positive you're wrong, And Positive I'm right, Yet, that doesn't make it any easier to fight this fight. You've broken all the rules, Passed all the lines, I can't see forgiving you at all this time. Yet, no words were said, Just knowing of your negligence is enough to send me over the edge. I wish you knew how much I care, How even though this friendship is over, I'll always be there. You're throwing your life away, For a temporary fix, You may be having fun, But I'm feeling the cast off feelings that you no longer have. I guess that it is over now, This is what they call the end. I just wish you knew, How much you had, How much you've lost, How serious your actions are. Yet, you'll never know, You'll never care. I'll save my breath, But I will always be there. |

Thanks for the comment. You could say that this friendship has always been one-sided. But what this poem really symbolizes is the end of this friendship because I am not going to always stick around and watch as she destroys herself and what she used to believe in. What I mean by "I will always be there" is that if my friend attempts to straighten up and stop doing the destructive things she's doing then I will be there for her. Tears...that's all...just tears. I've been dealing with a situation not too much unlike this one. Oh...and welcome to Passions...I'm probably a bit late in that respect...but wow. I'm truly touched. Thank you for all the comments. I'm actually not new to passions I've been a member for several years...I just don't post as often as I used too. And I also wanted to comment that she is not depressed or anything like that but she is harming her body by using drugs. That's basically what this is about and stuff and it is also a very one sided friendship. Thank's again for all of the comments. Glistening Tears Roll Down My Cheeks |

i hear you sis...i've had plenty of these "friendships". The best and the hardest thing is to just move on. It's not worth dragging yourself through it. People make their own choices they have to live with that, you don't. |
