His soul reflected in her eyes A love she barely could disguise He came to her upon the word Of passion she had never heard His heart, an open book to read Filling up her every need Speaking right to her it seems How could he see into her dreams To know the longing of her heart A restlessness that tears apart All she ever thought should be Replaced now with this love she sees Overwhelmed with what she’s feeling Certain that her heart is healing Tasting every word he speaks Telling her just what she seeks She is in love with him, she knows And he with her, his words it shows Their souls connected through the verse Within each other they immerse. |
