Living each day as it comes,
Skies sometimes blue, but yet can seem grey too,
Why is that?
Do I always believe in myself?
No, but I try to,
Fate, is there such a thing?
I’m not all that sure of the answer,
Puzzling thoughts haunt me,
Will they be answered?
Who knows.

Holidays are coming,
The joyous time of year,
Family and friends gather,
Reminiscing about the year gone by,
I think to myself,
How can I put on a happy face?
All in such a state of confusion.
Who knows,
But I’ll give it a heck of a whirl,
Nothing to loose… right?

Lord, help me put this altogether,
Please help me fix my state of confusion,
That’s really all I ask,
Is that You help me in my quest,
Answer these questions.

Life is a gift so live it to the fullest!

There was a time you must believe
My life was dark. I couldn't conceive
Of loss of job and marriage too.
I found myself what's known as blue.

A friend of mine bespoke to me
Locate someone worse off than thee.
Your struggles with self will ease in kind,
And joy will light your face and mind.

We are all confused at some time in our lives, Kelly, there isn't a script!

Nice writing, keep it up!  Ken

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

Ken~

Nice write I like it.   Sometimes I wish life came with a script... It might make things a little easier.

We all with IQ's more than our shoe size want the script.  Most of us just pick up our feet and lay them down one after another and entreat the forces that guide our lives to be kind to us.  Sigh.

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

Kelly~
Life doesn't come with the 'script' ... except for the one written by God~
Turn your eyes and heart to Him ... and He will show you the way He would have you go~
