Gentle child of the night You have lured the angels near With the fragrance of your breath And the sweetness of your tear Little curls on little head Rested in a pillow deep Little windows, little eyes Covered with the shades of sleep Who invited radiance Reflected on a silver moon To lay its glow of pearly white Across the silence of your room? There’s no celestial form above That would not find delight to share Its mystic glow and shine upon The lovely creature sleeping there It is the moon outshining stars That rests on shoulder's tiny rim But halo of an angel’s crown Came down from heaven to touch his skin Elizabeth SAntos |

Liz....I'm thinking this is for one of your beautiful grandchildren. They must be very proud to have a gramma like you! |
