Veracity

1.

Therefore let love crest these high seas,

(in those rose-colored hours before the dawn),

for consciousness is but a captive amongst the whitecaps that are thee.
Swelling caresses and clandestine kisses lead to the moist,

(fawn and cinnamon),

cradles of your skin,
where I'd compose a melody,
filled with longing.

Let quaver the unvocal hymn of upwelling,
as need disgorges its cadence,
in alliterations my body can scarcely suffer.

2.

As hushed as a sigh,
my hands arise,
to weigh the cadence of loneliness.

In the Cimmerian,
maundering nichés of the body,

(damp and drunk betwixt thighs of dream),

I unchaste myself,
like a bevy of geese,
arcing above the lithesome canopy of the woodlands.

3.

Guided by the wrists from the fonts of naiveté,
my soul is a raven flagon you’d lift to swill.

Calenture is severe,
the way it seeps in,
and grants wantonness.

Like the tepidness that cleanses my lips when we kiss.

4.

Let winters’ empress move restlessly upon a sole theme,
moored to these andiron gates of need.

Slumped into a bitumen silence,
I’ll ascertain how to restrain the broad day,
and luxuriate in just such moments.

5.

Toward it,
into it,
so earnestly I would go.
Let tenderness rupture my heart into rhythm.
Allow wants' esurient hinterlands to fasten upon caliginous eyes,

(that know naught but-love),

and there I'll lightly hold the thumping of your shadow,
though it be cradled by the loveliness that is thee.

6.

Moreover,
as you braid this wantonness,
into a drawn-out groans,
the timbre of tenderness constricts,
push by push.

Let your fingers cavort,
impetuous and quick,
along the autumn metaphors of my body.

In decadent rapture I’d be shackled,
‘til need and want are but one,
and a reverberating resonance bathes the milky deceptions of nearing winter.

This is a good poem and I especially love the ending..

Let your fingers cavort,
impetuous and quick,
along the autumn metaphors of my body.

In decadent rapture I’d be shackled,
‘til need and want are but one,
and a reverberating resonance bathes the milky deceptions of nearing winter.

My heart be still! Pitter patter! Pitter patter! I was literally swept away by the sway and rhythm of your empassioned words. You elevate romantic poetry to a fine art form!

It is such a thrill to read the sweet spill from thy loving quill. Flowers
