Hand in Hand

What can I do?
What can I say
as clumbsy words
depurify
elegant thoughts

Reaching up,
begging for help,
one lost soul hears the
plea of a fallen spirit

Slowly stretching down,
closing the gap of
pain and lonliness
Building a bridge with
laughter

Will it be enough to find a soul?
to raise a spirit?

In a whirlwind, two worlds
become one

Beauty and grace of the purest form
flow through mind and body
Eyes as deep as oceans
heal scars in the depths of
a wounded soul
Gentle words open
unseeing eyes to
eternal love

A journey begins
to an unknown destination
where souls are found
and spirits rise to grace

Only time can tell if two
incomplete travellers
will reach the end together
Finding joy and passion
in a world of love

For now,
searching together to reach
a field of dreams
Utterly, completely
hopelessly
