Snow, a childhood friend Came ... a winter visitor- To whiten playgrounds
Voices in each flake called out suzy and bobbie names-saying
Drop the capitals, Drop the formalities (of) Robert and Susan"
"Come play! at cold games, New flakes will remember you Time you were not old"
"All stiffness makes retreat, When the inner child regains".
Come play!

ice...Enjoyed very much...Paul
When we get old and gray The child in us still wants to play Building snowmen, riding rubber sleigh Muscles ache at end of day
Who could resist playing in the first snow of the season ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ Paul

for now, I can only walk on frosted pathways. But my memory banks hold onto the feel of many many walks in the cold, gazing at Aurora's night lights. There is such beauty in the stillness of a silent snow walk. Now you made me miss Alaska. But thank you for the quick vacation. (but I'm not missing those sub zero temps... it is -35 today in Fairbanks BRR!!!!!)[This message has been edited by Midnitesun (11-28-2005 02:53 PM).]

I can't always get quickly back to see my replies, but they are well worth the wait when I finally do...it has been cold and snowy here in the northern highlands of Pa. over Thanksgiving weekend...But your kind remarks have warmed my heart and made my soul very comfortable..
Thank you

Ford...wonderfully articulated
the child in us never feels the pangs of age and so I'm throwing away all mirrors....
staying forever an ageless lover of life's smiles....
enjoyed you in this....

The rain took my snow away but playing in the rain can be fun too. Enjoyed the read.
