My mama didn't raise no handsome boys, but you've figured that out by now. Daddy ain't got deep pockets, and a bike can't pull no plow. I can't afford to buy diamonds or fancy jewllery... but I'll scream more than the ocean's roar if you'll give your heart to me. (Chorus) I'll love you more than your mama. I'll go a mile past your dad. I'll spoil you like your grandma I'll be the best friend you ever had. Mamma say's I don't use my brains; Teacher thinks I'm shy of a load. Auntie says I got warts in my ears, but some girls have kissed toads. I know I ain't much to look at or hold hands on the way to school; but Sis says love's made up above makin angels out of fools (Chorus) I'll love you more than your mama. I'll go a mile past your dad. I'll spoil you like your grandma I'll be the best friend you ever had. I tried writing you a song or two but the words don't seem to rhyme. I tried writing you a melody but my heart won't stay in time I picked you some flowers, but all the guys just laughed Still my heart whirls when I see you girl In our high school home room class (Chorus) I'll love you more than your mama. I'll go a mile past your dad. I'll spoil you like your grandma I'll be the best friend you ever had. |

To fulfill the chorus alone in reality... would make you one super being... at least, in my case. I'm liking this... and hopefully I'll hear the song someday! |

Now that is one humdinger of a crush! I especially liked the line about what your sister said about love being made up above and making angels out of fools. I believe that, too. Liked the catchy rhythm -- much enjoyed this! jo |

Even picking flowers is enough to show you care, if you showed her this song you'd be in like Flynn. Excellent Job. Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

ethome You got one humdinger of a lyric and poem. It certainly had mellow for me. You have to find someone to write some music to it. |

With such a promise who can resist? This is really GOOD! And I bet it will be soon a song, with a refrain that nobody can keep out of mind! Love and Joy. Margherita |
