I breathe in deep the scent of your skin My senses go crazy and I’m lost within This little world I’ve created around The two of us--then without a sound You move away out of my grasp A tube of lipstick in your clasp You touch it gently to your lips I drink you in, in little sips You stand and turn and give me a look You know my thoughts just like a book You beckon to me with a longing gaze I’m trying to move but I’m in a daze You move in close and take my hand The dinner tonight that I had planned Is tossed aside like my shirt on the floor What you have in mind is so much more You hold me tight, I know what you want I try to pull back just to give you a taunt But there’s no holding out, I know this by now I’m yours and you know it, I just don’t know how I could ever have gotten a woman like you Such grace and beauty, a heart that’s true To love such a man as I think I am You can see more in me than I know I can So I give in to you with love unrestrained And all my devotion without refrain In my little world, you’re the best part In my little world, you have my heart. |
