Possibly this imagination
is hearing [lovely] things

for it is the fifth day
of the first week
of this new year

comes crossing
to my own senses
the begin of well being
on the strains of
resplendent well wishers

still insisting [joyously] on saying

Happy New Year

so I shall assume [delightedly]
that they must be right [finally?]
and indeed
