Heartburn
By: Noah Eaton
1/3/06
.
.
.
.
.
"How is it I should love her?",
speaking in my dizzy soliloquy,
collecting my sheer curiosity,
one hand clutched to the bedknob,
the other running through my hair,
envisioning bathing in this quiddity.
With mental lipstick I paint a face,
break out of all physical carapace,
and you glisten like morning dew, sancrosanct,
and I'm at war with the barometer,
trying to keep your first impression from evaporating,
it seems each struggle leaves me commisserating...
.
.
Stay just a little longer,
I want more than just your distorted silhouettes,
skinny-dipping in my head,
Everything's different for a moment,
but in the end, it all feels the same.
.
.
Stay just a little longer,
I don't want this meeting adjourned,
I swear you're the dimples of the smooth lip fern,
the proof I've been burning for you all along,
pouts within my deepest heartburn...
.
.
.
.
.
Reading your eyes,
is like solving a Sudoku puzzle,
in Braille edition,
you were my smooth translator,
with your lips like caramel in my ears,
satiating my deepest malnutritions,
before you, I cross my heart,
hoping to live and revisit your earliest years,
that we inspire in our selfless embrace,
oh, when you're not here,
it's a velvet equivalent of torture,
missing you, re-summoning you...
.
.
Stay just a little longer,
I want more than just your distorted silhouettes,
skinny-dipping in my head,
Everything's different for a moment,
but in the end, it all feels the same.
.
.
Stay just a little longer,
I don't want this meeting adjourned,
I swear you're the dimples of the smooth lip fern,
the proof I've been burning for you all along,
pouts within my deepest heartburn...
.
.
Oh, can you imagine soon you and me,
will be what everyone wants to be,
you effortlessly read my lips,
so be it and so it is,
I want to be this with you,
when will we be,
besides our deepest honeysuckle dreams,
when will we be...
.
.
.
Oh, can you imagine soon you and me,
will be what everyone wants to be,
you effortlessly read my lips,
so be it and so it is,
I want to be this with you,
when will we be,
besides our deepest honeysuckle dreams,
when will we be?
.
.
.
.
.

Noah, she is there, just let fate determine when you meet.  Anything else just wouldn't be what should be.

Beautiful!  Simply beautiful!  Don't know whether to cry or sigh so I'm doing both.

A young man's dream love couldn't be described in a more beautiful way, dear Noah.
Your heart is ready, filled with tunes of love, releasing them in the right moment to the right girl.

Meanwhile your readers eavesdrop at your heart's door and find beauty and pleasure.

Love and hugs.
