O! I saw an angel in my sleep!
Her spirit soul awoken, ‘Tis her light-
upon the fleet’s of memories that hath spoken
was an heartache long ago now broken,
O Thee, with me! Beneath upon the earth-
on passion’s breath we longed along the distance
the passing touch grew wings and felt away,

And in closed eyes we’d dream of us-
like blossoming flowers wanting to regrow
in different places we could let our hearts show,
But wilted they become blackened before death-
didn’t I push thee away knowing our time was spend
and beauty in thine eyes became that of waterfalls.

A loss before the drowning washed away the ache,
and numb I felt the longing wished I let thee stay-
’tis better to have lost and loved a laughable assuming lie
to heart, to wilt, to be no more than a shadow of it’s former self,
And still I would not change the pain for a moments joy-
continuing- I see thee now as I saw thee back then
an angel still beyond my reach the light of all my love.

One of the aspects of your writing that really appeals to me, is that you write with such pure emotion that I can imagine you actually reciting your heartfelt words.

I hear your voice as I imagine it to be.
