For serenity blaze who let me borrow her title
"fragrance that she left behind"

what do you mean
do I remember what I said
I said
somebody
please
get her outta here!
she’s ‘bout to drive me crazy
never shuts up
ain’t got a kind word to say
got her fork in my plate
hand in my pocket
mouth in some other ear
then she rocks and moans
‘bout how she
can’t believe she treated me that way
there is nothing more evil than a woman
that don’t really love you
and still wants to mess with you

I remember exactly what I said
but that was before
I smelled the
fragrance that she left behind

so true:

there is nothing more evil than a woman
that don’t really love you
and still wants to mess with you

and then the afterthought . . .

I betcha Serenity doesn't know this is here, she would have come and seen.

I'm smiling.

(I'm sorry I'm late.)

But I love what you did with this, you didn't take an easy turn with it, and I do enjoy the unexpected. (um, within reason, folks)

I was having some problems, though, recalling what poem you originally drew the title from, then someone helpfully bumped it, and at the end of it I credit Christopher, so actually, "the fragrance she left behind" may come from my lifting it from HIM.

I dunno. I just type the stuff.

But you, dear Lady, can write.

Oh my. Now I don't know what to say.

Thank you for the title (wherever it came from) and the compliment.

I consider YOU the poet.
