Love the way you did this one, Sharon.
I love the graphic and the poem.

By the way, am missing your emails.

I like this one a lot. There's a lot of angst in it and you always manage to find the right graphic for each of your poems!

Well, I assume there is something written in the picture that I can't see thanks to big brother...

Beautifully expressed, Sharon ... I love it when you write like this. Dark, mysterious, full of inner thoughts and reflection. Excellent phrasing ... loved this.

Best wishes and hugs,
/Kit

Hi!  I was having a "moment" on New Year's Eve actually, when someone asked me if I was married.  I said, "Am I married?  I have been married, and married, and married!"     Then Martie and I talked over IM and I said I had too much energy for most men to keep up with and I always picked the wrong ones, so I left them (or they me.)  She gave me a lightbulb moment by saying, "Maybe it's you not them?"  I of course thought, "True Enough."  I decided then I would write out that disappointed feeling of always wanting the little house in the country, with a white picket fence, cat, dog, 2.5 children, and just one man who had LOTS of energy! LOL.

Thanks for reading this - and Sharon, this one I wrote first, then hunted down a graphic I could feel next. then modified it to go with it.  I needed the blue as in blue.  In the process I found another book of graphics I had that have inspired the muse, whooo hooo!

Thanks Martie for the inspire of this one.

Sharon....I'm so glad that you wrote this!!  All that energy you have makes some fine poetry...really!  If I helped in any way, then I'm very glad...at your service any time!

One of your best, lady.

I know you aren't comfortable writing "dark" but this is so very apt a descriptive write.

Much love to you.

For me, heart wishes don't float away...they burn. Floating away would be nice, if it could happen. That would imply that they might float back again some time.

All the same, the inside dimensions of this poem stir me deep. Thank you for bringing it to be.

Truly amazing, I love this side of you Sharon (in writing)  *grin*

But you know . . . I always think the same thing too . . . and I KNOW its me.

*smile*

You do have all of that stuff anyhow.

But yes, I know . . .

Nice tight writing.

I like you darkish.

At one time all I wrote was dark, then one day I found the light, but I still enjoy writing it once in a wee while.  It came about by thinking about something Martie had said to me a few hours earlier.

Thank you for coming on the dark side of me for a visit.
