Liz Liz, you left me. You left me crying, Weeping, In the middle of a deserted road. That was the first time I shed tears. Liz, you broke me. You broke my heart in half. I was already broken to begin with. It was the first time I had a heart to break. Liz, you hurt me. You hurt me like I’d never been hurt before. It was the pain that got to me. But it was the first time I felt long enough to feel ache. And the worst is… You did nothing to me. You loved me. And I loved you, You were the first I ever adored. You didn’t leave me broken and hurt. You just left this world To a place where I could not follow. Like I said, It was the first time I cried. And all this agony and sorrow Because you died. Beautiful and poignant! My eyes caught your words "my first and last love" ... you live and I hope your heart will be able to be open to give and to receive. Liz will always live in your heart, nothing and nobody will alter this truth. Love, Margherita  |

The saying, "It is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all" ~ may be trite, but I do believe that that is true. You may not have Liz by your side to keep you warm, but a part of her dwells within you which will continue to warm your heart and spirit. Love is pure energy and energy cannot be destroyed. Thanks everyone, I'm glad you all liked it. Lizzy was in a fatal car accident two and half years ago. She was killed on impact so she didn't suffer; I'm happy she didn't suffer. I haven't been able to talk about it so this has really helped me. I want to thank PIP talk and all of you for being so nice and welcoming to me. Sincerely - Ed |
