Here, Now, Forever

when i knew how to fly
i felt free
and i wanted them to see me
i wanted them to see me soar
in the sky
and i wanted to see them fly
with me
into the setting star
until we pierced through clouds of twilight blue

by all i hold dear
and in the name of love itself
i long to go
wherever i choose to
not answering to anyone but the kindred spirits at my side
with them i want to share the most sacred of things
i want to ride every rollercoaster
of every amusement park that ever was
without having to wait on a line
i want to see the ones i have lost again
and see how beautiful they have become
in all of thier sacred divinity
i want a perfect dream home
with every imaginable convenience
and many would come to visit me
and drink the finest wine
under heaven's stars
i want to love
and be loved
in this glorious life of mine
i want to believe
in this aimless journey
i want to stand triumphant at it's end
at the beginning
i want to scream
in sheer victory
i hope for the day when i
sob with joy
and fall to my knees
in surrender
to the beautiful things
i have yet forgotten

Oh Joseph, this IS amazing.

I want this too - it is what we strive for
Why we are here, even in pain . . .
and yet, understanding does not always come.

I love this.

I wish you peace and that it may come back to us all . . .

We are the bleeding hearts and artists.

This blew me away.

Simple things, yet so very hard to grasp.

Quite insane if you really think about.

We are all so alike really, and this proves it.  My but your writing has grown to a wonderful new level, mature, in-depth, and so easily comprehended.   Really liked this one.
