Like a mirrored reflection they stand face-to-face and my eyes see sublime symmetry a beauteous moment reveals itself as the yearlings stare at one another sister and brother I see in them cherished memories of a precious heritage, antiquities, the famous Lipizzaners of Vienna, dancing in the courtyard of royalty. ~Passage, et le pirouette~ Mature white horses dancing elegantly. But as youngsters dressed in browns and beige they frolic and play all day, strengthening sinews, muscles and bones with which to some day carry a rider into an arena, to dance and sway The Spanish Riding School way. But for today, they play as carefree yearlings frolicking face-to-face, reflecting sublime equine symmetry. And these eyes see poetry in motion. |

What a beautiful way to describe them. poetry in motion . . . And you sent me on a search in Vienna. *grin* I miss that, there used to be a place where people would keep their horses, land my sister used to own and no longer does and we used to visit them. When I was little, my Dad owned horses too. Used to go up to my uncle's farm. Thank you for making me remember that. |

You are more than welcome Sue. Anytime you want to view some of my daughter's horse photos and the horses she works with, go to www.classicaldressage.com (Ritter Dressage) if you visit the photo gallery, you will see what keeps my daughter Sara busy 6 days a week |

Had the wonderful opportunity to see these fine horses not so very long ago. Heard of their history, knew a lot of it from, yes, Mr. Disney...and in my next life... well, you know. ![]() ![]() |

Oh my gosh this is an absolutly correct way to describe those gorgous animals. I used to have an Arab Mare and I miss her so much. She passed a couple years ago and I always think about our rides when I get stressed by my little angels (Argh). I wish someday to get to see an Andelusian in person maybe even get to ride.My dream job was a vet. of the equine stature. But anyway thank you so much for making me remeber my girl!!! Sorry its so long. Danie P.S. It absolutely hit the solar plexus!! |
