Strip me down to primary colors

wash me in yellow
Sunflowers dancing
against sky blue

~You~

you always breathed
the essence
of life

splashed it passionately
in red

but even on the coldest blackest nights
you did glow brilliantly
over cities and fields

the very stars were in awe of you,
and as the pale morning dew kissed your lips,
you carried your heart and easel for miles
to lie down in golden wheat fields
just to watch the beautiful crows
blacken the skies

your passion for Life
colors me
true in the hue of you,
Vincent

and you will always be
my primary color

thank you susieq

awww . . . we actually have to thank Vincent.

This is just beautiful, Kacy.  He was so misunderstood, its heartwrenching.
Nobody knew he went off in the woods to watch nature, that all he wanted was to be loved and to love.

They only saw the outside,
never daring to look in.
They didn't see the artist trying to emerge . . . searching, like many of us,
for a place in this world.

This is just beyond beautiful.

Now you painted him, m'dear.
