The weak sun tracks,
Above the close horizon;
In a limp mood-passing,
Above mascara lashes
Of lady-oaks, of lady ashes;

Blowing winds
Make vamp-eyes blink-
Seductive-
But winter sun
Keeps right on passing.

So the female spirits
In the trees,
Grade him dysfunctional!

He notices, but knows,
The times not proper,
To rub his tempered rays
Against their tender parts;

...Knows that they
Will have to wait his touch
When he returns for longer stay-
April-May, when sure is this,
That he will sate the thirst,
Thats told exists-in songs
That drift from far below;

But not this day!

When cold is wax
That blocks his ears, from siren pleads
That rise from batting lashes-eyes;

Of Goddesses, disguised as trees.
