The two sloped hills, a mile away,
Are her bare shoulders-
Cleared fields, each side-dropping
Right and left...prove nature is sensual,

Though sometimes unaware of exposition-
(of course) I say this metaphorically.

Shadows falling, make a dress,
Hiding curves that hint at broad expansion;
Two hillocks rise, like faux pax breasts,
And I am entranced...mentally-physically.

How lovely the trees make a lawn
On the mound above the dark crevasse.
Of interest to me is this,

She has no eyes to see me leering-
Does not turn away-look sidelong-
Faking unaware, like human women
(Acting shyly) often peer;

But both are unable
To hide the truth from me,
As a large portion of my delight
Comes from observing, coy tendencies.

I had never thought of nature in this way exactly, but you're right, Ford.  This is just beautiful.   .....jo

It is a beautiful voyeur's touch...
when a man plays nature's shadings
in such a way, as to humanize the earth...

Well done, Sir...

but then, you never fail us, ever.

Ford, as always, you honor her with this loving, sensual write. And though I don't eat oysters, am understanding K's comment, and grinning.

Soft rolling hills of virgin snow,
Reveal a form in winter glow.
The nature man's a poet fair,
~His seeing eyes are quite aware!

Nice Ice

I do so enjoy your poetry!

My what lovely replies...

I see through the eyes of one that loves the sensual parts of nature, and it is sensual, although our senses have been dulled because we have forgotten the proper way to be intimate with it. I make sensual reference to it (the earth) because it is beautiful...

I love women and the earth more than men for several reasons...one of which is the history of how both have been mistreated and degraded in the past..someone must start to make amends...My feelings are that a man cannot fully love a woman without loving the earth first...and so I make comaprisons in some of my poetry...

Another reason is that I am a closet dirty old man....lol

This aught to make Serenity chuckle if she comes back...

Thanks for reading and the replies..

Lovely write. I enjoyed it threw your
