Confucius say,
modern life too confusing!
I need my sitting mat to be straight!

Buddha say,
Boo! Duh!
Leave that bitter wrinkled mat
in the dust, and transcend.

Lao-tse say,
wrinkled or straight,
bitter or sweet,
sit on the mat and enjoy.

Life is a treat.

*inspired by Milne's Pooh Bear,
and Benjamin Hoff's,
The Tao of Pooh and The Te of Piglet.*
