rainbows dissapearing over the sky rain drops drizzling in the passing light boxes ah broken seals and things making many scream from the joy of a christmas toy bracelets arranging themselves over the arm storm clouds passing by over the night making you wonder is this the life marriage and things me talking to my future companion til i could speak no more the true day we met under the wet sky when i sang to you my lulluby your black hair brushing across my face wishing to kiss you under the mistletoe the distance seperates our touch you tell me you love me so much these beautiful things we see in the light of a holiday flight the night comes and away this beautiful season runs why have i to wait til another year before i see the christmas lights again the holiday cheer and the snow raining down onto my head why must frosty melt away please stay another day to this i say i wish christmas could last for months cause i love it so much for those who hate this blessing to those who adore it as i look to the sky see the twinkling lights raise your hands up and thank that star for one more year you survived if you recieve no other gift this one gift you did recieve this christmas day another night, another year to see the light of more passing rainbows disspearing in the sky santas sleigh goes away for another time i wish it could last just one more night reaching out to hand in a gift to a hungry soul let this be the best christmas story ever told, for another night is another gift granted for a life given, yet another taken must you understand everything i say? no for only i understand this lonely write I do not need shine or wealth, just a pen and some paper for my health |
