Did I see you in summer Were you dressed in a manner unknown Did I fail to recognise Or words Or atone Of a woman I knew in things I didn't In hearts of colour difference smitten Did I see you more than you were As failure assured In what I never knew Was there Did I see you in winter You were dressed in frost On edges of your clothing Swirled Flashing Lost Or my Loss or Enlightment Did I see you in Spring Galloping as you may Did I remember Autumn Will it always be that way |
