In between the summer and winter seasons when the trees are busy releasing all their leaves, falling gently down carefree as can be, til they kiss the ground Brisk winds begin to set in a break from the summer scorch Spiders come out of hiding and start residing in their webs made on my porch The days flutter by gentle crescendo to December's crest fall prey to Old Man Winter's feeble touch perhaps a celestial January perhaps not so much |
