A mighty wolf sits closely by my side~ I hear an owl as I see an eagle high in the sky, slowly glide~ Out beyound the trees in a clearing near a cliff upon a horse, he sits tall~ a proud chief, with visions full of dreams before they came now full of sorrow as tears slowly fall~ All the land~ the air~ the streams~ Buffalo~birds~fish~ nothing left but tears and screams~ they came with lies took~ destroyed~ then as it comes near the end~ no peace~no truth~all denies~ i see cities empty not a sound~ lots of water, yet no life all poisoned only death from lies their hell nothings sacred above the ground~ worriors are restless feel it in the wind~ the rains like our tears will be their end~ nothing left but tears and screams~ no visions no hope no dreams~ they shall shed tears as the mighty chief and all that they will have left,the screams from the lies that took, we leave them grief~ My spirit will rise above the sea~ There will be no drowning of my soul or me~ |

 (big angel hugs) Oh Marsha, this is soooooooo very tragic indeed, dearest friend, being about 1/4 Cherokee Indian blood, I feel for my ancestors very much and the despair and anguish they faced through much exile, punishment and misunderstanding! (sad sigh) Their blood indeed whispers in my heart and ever so often I can indeed make out the screams, God Bless You, you write with pure compassion and soul, we all love you so much! thankyou, cherokee runs in my blood to as also apache. thanks to you and others here, i hear and see and write what the spirits and ancients need others to hear and feel and see. a great unjust was done to them. and never really made right. thankyou again for your reply, i am greatful My spirit will rise above the sea~ There will be no drowning of my soul or me~ |
