Open Heart Surgery Such a crazy little girl... What was once open heart surgery is now closed because of burglary her soft hands on my batteries taking me down with the sun taking me down to where the vultures come and circle over my heart disease and that ailment is she but sometimes I find a cure she unearths inside me makes me feel like the king of the world but never king of that crazy little girl What was once easy street is now a traffic jam meet and greet all the lost lovers I've rediscovered taking me to orbit 'round the moon taking me back to the tinkling little tune she inspired in me, dedicated to her the wonder in her and sometimes I find another tune growing inside me makes me feel like I can bring it into the world all because of that crazy little girl So she drives me up a wall so what? I like it when I'm up there I can see so many miles down this hall back to the past where she came out of nowhere and dropped her anchor into me buried her treasure in me, after years of open heart surgery the barricades open only to her command so she can be sure I'll always stay her man What was now a cold heart of December is now a burning hell of July because of her and I think I like it she takes me down to the roots of me she takes me hand in hand and gives to me freely she's my little wing, she's got my firecracker lit and sometimes the night is cloudy so sometimes she brings a little hot light into my world leaving me to know that crazy little girl is to me, the whole crazy little world plus one.. Me plus her equals moon and tide think I'm gonna curl up inside her heart and hide feels like I'm in the eye of a hurricane her eyes shine a love that's perfectly insane it's just right for me stitching up after open heart surgery the glow she buried inside me forever to remain there and I like the tickle I feel in there Such a crazy little girl...
