first off, I'd once again like to thank anyone who's responded to any of my poems so far, it's great hearing from you.
here's one I just wrote, I hope you enjoy it.

I love you,
I need you to know,
before I leave,
before I go.
I persuade myself she's gone,
but it doesn't last long,
how could this love,
ever be wrong?
You're always there,
I'll never forget,
not ready to deal,
with my regret.
So just once more, please,
I need to set my soul at ease.
