If I would but only think upon The good I have around me The ones I come in contact with Will then a smile upon my face see
It is said there takes less energy Upon my face a smile to wear I know it helps the ones around When without a tear I share
This is the season to be jolly So I want to think of joyful things The sweet memories of Christmas past As well as what joy our future brings
To think upon your sweet love You tenderly bestow upon me Or of your heart to me you gave When you and I became we
To not forget to think upon Of what is the real and true reason Of why we share and celebrate This wonderfully glorious season

Thank you, Nancy. I tend to get selfish sometimes and think of me too much. That's when I get downheartened. Hugs, Ethel

(smiles) Awwwwwww, you have always glowed to us as the complete opposite of selfishness, dearest friend, for you are a most loving, caring person who is inclusive and feeling to all, yay! (angel friendship hugs) You've always been one poet that I think of least selfish and most generous in spirit, yay, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ethel, thank you for sharing!
May love and light always shine upon you!

Noah, Chris, Iliana, James and Susan... thank you all for reading and for your replies. I hope that we all think of the good things this year. God knows, there is enough sadness in this world to last a lifetime!! I pray that we all can feel some happiness in our hearts on this season of the birth of Jesus. Hugs to you all, Ethel
