Shattered pieces of my soul
dance across the table
with no description to match how i feel
the pain of the world is overwhelming
I am trying to help
trying to heal the loss
the falling star that fell in my lap

My shadows follow me like whispers
as solitude takes me into its
rainy fog world ,where past and
present become the future
I lowered myself from the horizon
cold crystal air greets me with awakening
wishing to close my eyes and retire my time
why can't I be saved in your style
will she find me hidden from sight
drifting alone in the twilight of the seasons

The emotions in my heart
attempt to bring tears to my eyes
when nightfall runs color into thoughts
there is no echo that reminds me
the lost feeling that never let's me go
I can't dream it away from me even
the clock interests me no more
would it be the same without the hands
trapping the seconds into minutes
then hours into years

Now reaching out to your shores
to a place i have never seen
to your forests and lakes
this magic has to be real
as it all breaks through everything
appearing relaxed and forgiving
in your prisms uplifting reflection

How beautiful the spill of your thoughts, so much condensed into sylables of emotional tones...high and low.
An aurora falls upon this page.

This is beautiful and compelling, aujussy wolf, and the pain bleeds through into the marrow of the readers' bones - or mine anyway.  The death of a loved one is a very hard thing to grapple with.  I wish you courage, strength and wisdom.  I am sure you will meet again in the afterlife.

I am so glad I was wrong about your having lost a loved one.  You have obviously found your mind again, otherwise you wouldn't have penned such beauty.  I misplace my mind regularly, but find it just as regularly, in the most surprising of places.

You explore the depths of your spirit in a most compelling manner. Your poetry always moves me and awakens parts of my own spirit that may lie sleeping.

James, this is beyond stunning.

(and you tell me you always feel from what I write and see something new)

sheesh . . .

I saw you on your mountain, contemplating - maybe wondering just how this all occurred.

These lines struck me hard:

there is no echo that reminds me
the lost feeling that never let's me go
I can't dream it away from me even
the clock interests me no more
would it be the same without the hands
trapping the seconds into minutes
then hours into years

Let go of that . . . it is hard and just glide on into THIS.

Stay Warm, Wolfman.
