A Song of Noel
~ Linda L. Dowd ~

+*+*+*+*+*+
Sleigh bells are ringing,
Church choirs are singing,
~The air is scented with pine.
Cold winds are blowing,
Candles are glowing,
~All is bright, festal and fine.

Christmas is coming,
Children are humming,
~Angels blow blessings of cheer.
Friends, family, and food,
All elevate mood,
~This joyful time of the year!

All Christians are sharing,
Their love and their caring,
~Giving gifts to honour His birth.
Our Lord Jesus lives on,
With each Noel song,
~”Happy Birthday” to God's Son on Earth!

Linda,
'Tis the season and a pleasure to read of the reason. Nicely done.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
