“Keep it simple”, said the sky “Set as you would arise” and the sun said, “No way, I’m changing every day and tasting, touching, knowing, every colour that I’m showing. Awesome blue laid down the rules; confine it would the sun’s bright hues and know from each day into night exactly what awaits in life. Blue sky delights in certainty and the end result of harmony but from dawn to dusk no magic dust can overthrow sun’s burning lust. Light and enflame the fire of need; this is the sun’s most ghastly deed done here, there, everywhere, this life and then into the afterlife. A witness still and silent sighs because it too must change tonight into the dark, so dark of heart when sun departs into the past. “Keep it simple” said the sky “Take me for your bride so I too can taste, touch, know, the colours that you show … from day into the night this life and on into the afterlife!” Helen / 29 November 2005 |

Jo - Simply lovely! Yes, yes! I like - especially as it's a grey and dismal day here today! ~ Helen |

Helen, so glad it brightened your day! *hugs* Martie, have to admit it is not a photo I took....I just borrowed it. Helen, just made me want to find a photo that expressed her poem to me. It is a great photo, yep, thanks! *hugstoyoutoo* |
