Dreamlet About Barbados In this dreamlet, she is talking about the beauties of Barbados, but I can't understand her, because she's talking in Barbadian. The British brought civilization to Barbados. One might take issue with how they brought it, but two or three or four may not. Anybody out there living in Barbados? Do they really talk Barbadian in Barbados Like Turkish Turks talk turky in Turky, which is why they sound so funny, because their mouths are full of it? Like they talk Torontanian in Toronto? Nurse! ... Nurse! ...should I go back to bed now? This poem was written in the Texasonian talk of Texas.
