Our ship rests For a little while At anchor in Naples harbor In small boats Fishermen cast their lines Into the sea The sun’s light On the white walls of ancient houses Shoppers' bustle in the streets Days rush by From dawn to dusk Almost mindless in their hours The ominous wisps from Vesuvius Hang a pall however pale Over all that is blue And beautiful in our lives How I wish That you were here— La Belle Dame Sans Merci Granting solace with a smile |

It is so true, that the scene and the person can become one within us, so that we simply can't reach toward either without finding both.... ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |
