Flight of the Blue Balloon September 1998 On the way to the supermarket whom should she meet, but a blue balloon floating by. Who hasn’t? But it would have been absurd for it to be attached to a grey-haired old woman even for a moment. So she watched it and the moment and the balloon were lost. A child, hidden from sight, no doubt, soon forgot. To her regret, she could not. - Owl [This message has been edited by OwlSA (11-24-2005 04:04 PM).] |

Isn't it special when we can digress into another realm of our lives...sometimes it feels wonderful and at times a slight bit sad. But hey, what are daydreams for? |

...and...poet's eyes...isn't it wonderful to have them? They're a gift from beyond, you know....and yours are exceptional. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

Thank you Magnus. This wasn't a daydream. I felt very ashamed of myself. If there had been a child visible, I would have tried to catch it because I would have had someone to hand it over to - but that is no excuse. Thank you Ratleader for thinking I have exceptional poet's eyes. I often feel very grateful for them, but they don't always translate well into words, unfortunately. Thank you Dark Stranger. Would you accept a friendly owl granting you your wish, oh Blue Balloon, you? - Owl |

You write with warmth and wit. I pictured this, and smiled. And would have, if i'd have spotted you in real life. |

Thank you gemjop. Yes, I giggle when I remember it, but I also feel bad! The absurdity of my holding a balloon shouldn't have weighed more than a child losing his/her link with magic, (and most times I try not to care what other people think), but it did! Thanks, Midnitesun, I'm glad you did. - Owl |

I simply adore the all of this~ LOL ... moi ? ... I would have (and have) chased that ballon until I caught up with it! Of course I'm still the 'kid' that sits in the aisle floor at the store ... playing with all the toys~ I hope I'll never outgrow it ! *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*No matter what I search for ... |
