The Soul Unlocked to life by Love's long key Of Heaven's depths and mystery The Soul was sent thro stars-way led A waking wings to birth's bright bed. Winnowed her forth allgifting breath Over the fathoms of deep death. Up fire's feathers her flight was sped With sun's hot help to day's rich red. She wrang thro all the heavens' room Upwaxing to wife's gifted womb. She was so wide of springs beyond Broad into narrow knot and bond. Her waistless width timeless tallness Was set in body's sweet smallness. Up heaven's long and endless leap She sprang to bed and woke from sleep In childly clothes, at mother's breast, Of wide wonders, to body blessed.
