A pat on the back
insults break into poems
complements into credits
need becomes appreciation
search for a stimulating space

You're a great guy
got your stuff together
unlike most people
get together for a coffee
not to get you depressed

Got to get onto life
too easy to spend money
a word of encouragement
always paid in full
appreciation falls short
stimulating space is crowded

Time to move on
talk about right places
get on with life
not getting anywhere here
rambling on
finish unfinished business
onto a stimulating room.

This sounds like a party conversation. The nice thing about parties is you can move from topic to topic and always be a part of whatever conversation is taking place. This has the same elements of conversation overheard but it also gave me food for thought.

one can take this as exemplifying victims of circumstance, tenants of the space we occupy, borders of party talk rooms and sharers of hand me down scenarios...its all good
