you just don't know-- how hard it was to leave..." My brother emphasized with fist pounding table-topped despair. "You'll never know what it is like--" He closed his eyes as if in sway. I swept his bangs out of his eyes and demons danced in memories-- "And you, don't know, my brother-love, how hard it was to stay..." * * * A special repost for my daughter, who was reading my "stuff" yesterday, and she said she really liked this one, and we thought it would be appropriate to post it now, since we all understand now what my brother meant. R.I.P. Big Brother--it's good to have you home. * * * Love & Gratitude to you all, and a promise to come back and read when I'm less dizzy. Heh. Grin. |

and here I was thinking I shouldn't even come here right now. I feel like a walking blight these days... so thanks, so much, and Ruthie? That you think of me at all right now is testament to your compassionate heart. thanks to you all but especially to my daughter, misao/Krista, for letting me know she is a fan of mine. (It's hard to tell when they are at that age)  |
