Lonely Hearts Sadly Grieve

When its unrequited love
It will be a one sided affair
With one half left to yearn
As the other acts unaware

Its noticing their absence
From love you once relied
Your heart once felt whole
Suddenly you feel it divide

When love is not returned
Feels like part of you died
Lonely hearts sadly grieve
As the gulf becomes wide

You do hope beyond hope
Until you reach in despair
As only one half gets hurt
With any unrequited affair

Don't waste it on remorse

Don't feel of failure
