This wisp
A hardly there

A nondescript
With stranded hair
On no more
Than skin and bone

Too slight to note
From cheek to cheek
One fears to see reality
Without its clothes

A tarnished pole
That flags a ragged smile
Beneath a pair of burnished eyes

A loss at best
However thought . . .
And yet this tremor
Under ice

And yet this tremor
Under ice

We try to hide emotions and yet ...

Well said.
