 Artist: Jeff Divine Ease of Flow ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ +*+*+*+*+*+ As ocean tides roll in and out, We should ebb with ease and flow, ~But with solid feet on shifting sands, For naught stays status quo. Circumstances change in life, ~Nothing ever stays the same. Things once white, may turn black, Then change to white again! It may be best to not assume, ~It makes an ‘ass’ of ‘u’ and ‘me'. What is true, at the present time, Comes not with guarantee. Never get too comfortable, It is wise to be prepared. Keep eyes ‘n wits very sharp, And live life unimpaired. Friends of the road may leave us, Then new faces are ushered in. Whenever there are endings, ~There are good times to begin! How true. Status quo is very relative term, though. Even the dinosaurs would concede the term unfounded, having ruled the Earth for 150 million years or so. Perhaps a true status quo only exists during that fleeting moment between inhale and exhale. All else is in flux. CG |
