sitting at the bus stop the hairs on the back of my neck standing on end I fear winter has found me and embraced me in it's awkward way but I remember the light at the end of the tunnel spring I remember the spring two years ago when it was raining a warm soft rain I stood outside for two hours I felt every droplet roll off my face the warmth how every drop absorbed all the heat from my body slowly. putting my hands over my ears listening to the water run down past my eyes, my cheeks my lips, my neck the dampness of everything and the greed it brought to me. |

The rain the soothing life force. I have stood in the rain many a time and just marveled in its beauty. The poem came across beautifully, it is nice to see a crack in the door when winter has begun to take root. Tomorrow comes for those who fear it. |
