I gaze upon night’s welkin sky
and ponder from afar,
is there someone who flips the switch
to light each twinkling star?
who holds the brush that paints the heavens
to reveal the Milky Way?
and fill Moon’s orb with golden glow;
crowned jewel of night’s display?
I know not and if truth be known,
I really do not care,
for there are a trillion answers
of which I‘m unaware,
there’s just one thing of which I ‘m sure;
that I admit to know,
that the glory of a midnight sky,
is not of man’s bestow.

I like all the images and ideas behind the poem... I also like the vocabulary

The message is a bit too simple, but sometimes that is good

Good Job

Twinkle twinkle little star
I do not wonder what you are
Yet if the facts were all you were
Who would seek you in the sky

The night sky is a wonderous thing.
You have written well about just that.
Enjoyed. hugs, Chris
