Fall to You The July midnight is suprisingly cold somehow it's still you I'm wanting to hold wanting to yell at you, why couldn't you just tell me what was in your heart don't even say that it was me from the start pitty-pat, breaking apart in a city that's unromantic as hell first time I fell, you were almost there second time, you pretended to care this time, come hell or high water, I'll be coming up for air without you no longer drowning in you I'll let it fall to you the remains of a love exhumed take care, take 'em anywhere it's all for you Seems like I'm constantly rebuilding these bridges I've been forever burning burning in my fury of why you wouldn't open your every thought and dream to me don't hold your love out for all but me to see pitter patter, what's the matter is you're raining on my parade last time, I was fooled by you next time, I'll be ready for you this time, come rain or shine I'll be sailing through skies of blue over you looking over a four leaf clover in dew I've learned that if it feels like autumn in my bones and if it seems like the hardest fall I've ever known then my cover's blown inside me, outside my skin where has her love been soaking in pools of sin caught in some other guy's eyes wearing such a brilliant disguise you'd never even know she used to love me you'd never even guess she asked me to set her free but c'est la vie, joke's on me nothing I can do now but let it all fall to you So I'm counting on another cold July midnight so she'll show up at my doorstep without a fight fighting the feelings we shared probably wondering why I won't give up caring for her my futile fumbling towards negotiations with her ho-hum, this song cycle is never done till it's revealed all to me only time will let these wounds heal over time I hope she'll begin to feel that this time, it'll be worth it to be with me I know it could be true with you, like moonlight cutting right through I'll let this love's fate fall to you "Poets are all who love, who feel great truths, and tell them; and the truth of truths is love." --Philip James Bailey |

there is a sadness in this, a hint of melancholy but maybe it's just my mood, I don't know but I liked this a lot |

"last time, I was fooled by you next time, I'll be ready for you this time, come rain or shine I'll be sailing through skies of blue over you looking over a four leaf clover in dew" art. pure art. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |
