make for me your canary soup oh dawn fly your feathers of golden amber there above my rubber tire'd windows and jauntywalk my bedsheets asphalt that decorate your salza sided sky with lemon memory in memorex and potato chips the long day kind that burn my lips when I sing and you laugh at my fingers drawing smiles on car hoods below the bullet holes of another's vulgar laughter give me more to drink of your wine there are only hours left in our lives but no minutes of of sober value just the metal mouths of a desert heat ___________ dark scribnote..desert heat is a scooter event in palm springs every year..big bores, broken doors, no snores (sleepless)oh and naughty girls too..a bit of a party atmosphere |

DS You reminded me of my sweet canary long gone. In the room the table is heavy legs folded and tucked The canary sings in its center he tells the sun the time singing to the yellow sash of the eastern curtain -------- "make for me your canary soup oh dawn fly your feathers of golden amber there above my rubber tire'd windows" Love the color you painted into your poem!! |
