smoking short impatient puffs with his flappy lips foreseen by horizon’s wilderness and someone else’s dream of lies he conjured up, ripe for the serving was that room part of your salary? the one he so carefully synchronized you were there the night of musicfest walking down the street behind us i remember...i remembered unlike any sleepy backwater, i’d imagined turning our pages of terracotta like a car revving up outside shuffling a deck of blodd money even that was a minor slip on his part his part…his ball of string… and yours upsetting the pile of books on the floor you so generously orchestrated misuse and sheer wastage of life dragging me to the open sea leaving me for fish food throwing up misuse, like drizzling rain while he found himself fantasizing filling his belly with personal phone calls little did i know, you'd eventually send me flying through the air did you watch your mirror closely? like you said, that night of your birthday while you stood behind me holding my shoulders we both looked deeply into the mirror, didn't we or did you forget while staging that hypnotic clever puzzle? oh, the challenge you must have met! through your wailing stereo you know the one, in paneled walls of a room i knew nothing about? you the hired killer of hearts while you ease dropped good impersonation absolved in that whisky you poured constantly reminding me about fads & onyx lamps ornaments on a silver platter and how good you are your hi-fi system bellowed out little did you know, i wasn't impressed but...I thought I saw something? I was mistaken.... being a father yourself you forgot i was someone’s daughter to.. well, sir, after the tsunami i found quite a bit of money in an old pocket of a dress you said you loved now the thought tips a glass to my lips filled with a liquid without numbers and my own private hypnotherapy you’d be surprised how everything happens for a reason while connecting the dots of your past life adding up the cruel bets people make carpets plenty of life in nasty words laughing about my singleness don't elude yourself...it's not b/c of admiration it's b/c you ate my heart like an ol' apache tradition... and that, i'm certain, pleases you You had to win, no matter the cost no matter the pain and torment oh, do i sound recluse, a bit unfeathered? i hate the fact, you drowned the child i may indeed, someday forgive you but i’ll never forget... which makes it easier to remember "who not to chose" i wasn't the first, and i won't be the last and that sir, that makes me sorry for you |

Yes, I too believe, that everything happens for a reason and one is that we may learn our lessons and another is ... that we may be able to forgive despite everything! There is such power in your words, dear Lee! And such poetic talent ....and here you have another reason: to share your experiences and touch your readers so profoundly. Love, Margherita |
