 At times escapes the child in me A bit princess and a tad fairy She dons her crown and a velvet gown Glitter wand in hand necklace of pastel coloured down. She is a comic nymph with slippered, nimble feet An impish grin makes her sprightly ruse complete. She will dance and sing~ sprinkle fairy dust Yet ...... too soon bid a fond adieu' as she knows she must. But, don't dispair make-believe is part of me This ageless pixie one will be back~ You'll see !!  . . . . . Chris Barker September 2005 ~~~~~~~ |
