Lamentations 1 2 She weepth sore into the night; And her tears on her cheeks: among all her lovers she hath none to comfort : all her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her enemies. She weeps making her pillow a pool, Unable to drown herself though trying, The mirror shows a red-eyed fool, Knowing that inside her soul's dying. Where are those lovers with charm, What happened to those once friends, Is there no one left to take her arm, Why do so many want to sink a knife in? Is there no one left for trusting, Is all the world void of a kind being, Can there be no old lover still near by That might hold dearly during her cry. She has given away her body and soul, Happiness torn from her and leaving sorrow, Her being is bruised, naked, and cold, As she tries to drown in her pillow. Gloom |

Prof, She's stumbled into a wretched life. Well done. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Thanks Larry, Actually she caused it herself, But the she in the Bible quote is a City. Jeremiah warned them but they wouldn’t listen, And so they came to destruction. So more likely she strayed Rather than stumbled, But so it is with personal destruction It is upon us before realization can stop it. Pleased you enjoyed my words. Gloom |
