~Our 'night blooming' Cactus~ *I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer so she opened up her blooms fully after I'd closed my eyes for the night* ~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost, |

Dear Marge: This would be worth staying awake for. Or setting your alarm, so you could see it! Gorgeous! Love Betty Lou Betty Lou Hebert |

Thank you, that we did not ALL need to stay awake so long to see it, captured here in its semi-glory. |

Thanks everyone ... by way of 'explaining' ... I stayed up until only 10:30 trying to get her photographed in full bloom ... she was being obstinate ... but I felt she was STILL beautiful enough to share~ Grabbed (believe it or not) a FLASHLIGHT in one hand .... camera in the other and sneaked right up on her~ Honest Injun~ *Huglets* and lots of thankee's~ ~*Marge*~ ~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost, |

Do the blooms close up after the flash? Just curious. You not only write beautifully, Marge, but you obviously have alot of fun with the physical imagery. You have a lot of energy, don't you? |
